This recipe actually came to us from one of our students in our Kids cooking/baking camps. She made it for the cooking competition, she didn’t actually win, but she won according to Chef! This dish is the perfect combination of spicy, salty, and slightly sweet with its tomato Cajun cream sauce, penne pasta, peppers, onions, and sausage!

Penne Pasta (Semolina [Wheat] & Durum Wheat Flour), Crushed Tomatoes (Tomato Puree & Citric Acid), Sausage, Heavy Whipping Cream, Red Bell Pepper, Red Onion, Garlic, Olive Oil, Cajun Seasoning, Paprika, Onion, Oregano, & Red Pepper Flakes.

Thaw in the fridge 1-2 days before reheating. Remove the plastic film before reheating. Bake in the oven, covered with tin foil, at 375˚F for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until warmed throughout. Heat until the internal temperature reaches 165˚F. Add an order of our pumpkin bars to keep the spice alive after dinner and serve with a salad on the side for a healthy & fresh addition. Thaw times and reheating times may vary.
